A place of peace, healing, and remembrance

Angel of Hope Idaho is a community remembrance park where families can come to remember children and loved ones lost too soon - on birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and any quiet day that calls for it.

Our mission

A permanent place to remember

Angel of Hope Idaho is a remembrance park taking shape at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise, sponsored in partnership with the Eagle 616 Lions Club.

At its heart stands the Angel of Hope statue - part of a tradition that began with Richard Paul Evans’ book The Christmas Box and has since given grieving families around the world somewhere to go.

This is a community effort, built by local families, donors, and volunteers who understand that grief does not end after the funeral.

What this place offers families

  • A permanent place of remembrance

Somewhere that will still be here in ten years, and in fifty.

  • Space for healing and peace

A quiet setting to sit, walk, and remember without hurry.

  • Annual candlelight vigils

Families gather each December 6 to remember together.

  • A place to return

For birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and the hard days in between.
